The ANU Crawford School of Public Policy was honoured to meet with Opposition Leader Dasho Pema Chewang in Bhutan.
Professor Janine O'Flynn led the delegation, during which they discussed their shared love and history at Crawford, the future and challenges facing Bhutan, and Professor Long Chu ’s love of Bhutanese red rice.
It was an emotional reunion in Bhutan to see our alum, including a surprise visit from former Ambassador to Australia Sonam Tobgay, Director General of the Department of Bilateral Affairs, who alongside the Opposition Leader, highlighted how far the skills learned at Crawford can take you.
